Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for court bookings and event tickets made through thebackyardcafe.co.in, operated by The Backyard By Grace Coffee, Shilaj-Rancharda Road, Shilaj, Ahmedabad.

1. Court bookings

• A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed through our payment partner, Razorpay. Unpaid or pending bookings are automatically released after a short holding window, without charge.
• We do not currently have a fixed, automated cancellation window or self-service refund process for paid bookings.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule a paid booking, contact us directly using the details below as early as possible. Requests made well ahead of the booked slot are more likely to be accommodated than last-minute ones.
• Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Refund timing depends on your bank or payment provider and can take several business days to reflect after we initiate it.
• If we cancel or are unable to honor a booking (for example, due to maintenance, safety concerns, or force majeure), we will offer a full refund or an alternate slot at no extra cost.

2. Event tickets

• The same approach applies to paid event tickets: no fixed self-service cancellation window today, contact us directly and we'll review the request.
• If we cancel or materially reschedule an event, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.

3. How to request a cancellation or refund

4. Changes to this policy

We're still formalizing a fixed cancellation window; when that's in place, this page will be updated with the specific rule and the "last updated" date above will change to reflect it.
